I am very much looking forward to my next campaign fundraiser, which will be a family-friendly event at Cliff Fen Park in Burnsville. We’ll have a build-your-own-sundae bar at Shelter A, and the park as a fun playground and a splash pad! Please join me on July 1st between 2pm and 4pm. I’d love the chance to talk with you about what you want your state representative to do for you. Please click here for more information and to RSVP.
And don’t forget about the PCR program! If you are eligible to vote in Minnesota and have not filed for your Political Contribution Refund in 2018, you can donate up to $50 per person or $100 per married couple and receive a full refund from the state. More information about the PCR can be found here.
We had a fun time with lots of fantastic people at my second fundraiser, which was at Union 32 Craft House in Eagan. I am honored that so many great people came out to lend their support. Together, we can do this!
Turns out the beginning of April can be a bit snowy. Not to worry though. If you missed out on Casper’s because of the weather, I’ve got another event coming up soon.
You are cordially invited to a snow-free fundraiser Monday, May 7th, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Union 32 Craft House, 2864 Highway 55, Eagan, Minnesota 55121. Our suggested donation for the evening is $20.
I would love to talk with you and hear about the issues that are important to you. Come meet me, enjoy some delicious food and beverages available for purchase, and check out Eagan’s unique new watering hole. It’s going to be a lot of fun.
Please let me know if you’re coming by emailing email@example.com or with an RSVP on my Facebook event. Consider liking my Facebook page while you’re there. You can also stay up to date by following me on twitter at @KinerForMNRep.
Thank you to everyone who was able to brave the snow and come to my fundraiser on Tuesday, April 3. What an incredible, dedicated group of supporters! Special shout outs to our honored guests Sen. Dan Hall, Rep. Eric Lucero, State Auditor Candidate Pam Myhra, and radio host Mitch Berg, and to Jeff Schuette for MCing the night. Can’t wait to see you all again!
The suggested contribution is $25 per person, but remember that if you haven’t used the Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program yet this year, the first $50.00 you donate to an eligible candidate like me is refundable. Ask at the door if you’d like to know more.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and working with you on my campaign. I’ll work hard to bring oversight and accountability to our state government. You can also follow me on Twitter at @KinerForMNRep, and like my Facebook page at Jim Kiner for Minnesota House. Stay informed of all that’s happening with my campaign.
Thank you for your help and support. I hope to see you on April 3.
We had great turnout on Saturday in the SD51 convention. It was wonderful to have a chance to talk with so many supporters and delegates at Dakota Hills. At the convention I was honored to be endorsed by unanimous acclimation by the delegates from house district 51A.
We also had a few candidates and familiar faces at our convention. Thanks for stopping by, everyone!
Jim Kiner with Congressman Jason Lewis and former Governor Tim Pawlenty
Jim Kiner with Keith Downey, candidate for governor.
Jim Kiner with Jeff Johnson, candidate for governor
Jim Kiner with senate candidate Jim Newberger
I’m looking forward to a great campaign. Onward to victory in November!
Tomorrow, Thursday, March 1, at 7:00 pm we’re having an informal organizational meeting for the campaign. If you’re interested in getting involved to volunteer, let me know. My contact information, as always, is in the contact tab. Give me a call and I’ll give you details. There’s no better time to get involved than early!
Also, I’m looking forward to seeing all of Senate District 51’s delegates at the Saturday, March 3, convention. It has been wonderful getting to know everyone in these early stages of the campaign so far, and I look forward to another opportunity to see you face to face. There’s no better way to get to know what issues are most important to our community than getting together to discuss them, so thank you all for signing up to be delegates and make your voices heard.
Stay tuned for more updates as the campaign progresses.
